Downtown Los Angeles has a lot to offer, from great architecture to many cultures mixing together. Right by Bunker Hill, you will find Grand Central Market and Angels Flight.
When on a private tour, our guide told us more about these two places:
Grand Central Market. a LA landmark, opened in 1917. It is located in the heart of the entertainment and commercial district. The Market has always reflected the changing population of downtown, and in the 20's the 90+ vendors included multiple green grocers, fishmongers, Jewish delis, and butchers, as well as stalls for dry goods, baked goods, flowers, coffee, cheese, notions—and even one vendor who sold nothing but eggs.
To get to the market, the wealthy people living on Bunker Hill would ride the now famous Angels Flight instead of climbing the steep hill. Built in 1901, the funicular has two car traveling from Olive Street to Hill Street named Olivet and Sinai. It is the World's Shortest Railroad, but made very famous for being featured in movies and shows such as LaLaLand, Bosch and Perry Mason.
