Winter is coming(not) and so is the finale of HBO’s much touted for series- The Game of Thrones. And in prepping for the epic end of the GOT era, Adidas recently announced a new line of sneakers that is wholly inspired by the series and its several characters. Introduced just in time of the finale, the collection boasts of limited edition Ultraboost in several new and eclectic colorways.
Up for grabs are six new patters- each inspired by the Game of Thrones and the color scheme and moods of the various houses and factions in the series. There’s enough for everyone in the store, with unique references ranging from the Lannister and Targaryen houses to those of the Night’s Watch. Those seeking allegiance to the White Walker can opt for some chilly blue-and-white sneakers while others can go for the red and black, red and gold or white versions of the luxe sneakers.
The GOT Ultraboost are further prettied up with phrases from the show’s storyline such as “Winter Is Here” and “Hear Me Roar” neatly inscribed on the heel of each shoe. Other features include text on the insoles to branding under the tongue along with the company’s boost mid-soles and Primeknit upper- making the sneakers a near perfect deal for GOT aficionados.
