Those with a penchant for all things fine certainly cannot miss out on the Macallan ‘Rare Journey’: a premium whiskey experience that takes you through a world of luxury unlike any other. Living up to its name, the voyage promises to be special and gives connoisseurs a chance to sample some of the finest spirits from the brands.
Starting at New York, the journey commences at the Teterboro Airport aboard a privately chartered, 12-passenger Embraer Lineage 1000 jet, wherein guests are served a “Smoked Oak New-Fashioned” cocktail, along with canapés. Further on, they are introduced to The Macallan’s Master Series that includes the coveted The Macallan Rare Cask, The Macallan Reflexion, The Macallan No. 6, and the uber-expensive Macallan M, collectively costing a whopping $12,087! On landing, guests are transferred to a 100-foot yacht docked at the pristine Hallandale Beach.Onboard the luxurious yacht, guests are invited to sample the ‘Mac & Cheese’ – a fine group of whiskies—Double Cask 12 Years Old, Sherry Oak 12 Years Old, and Triple Cask Matured 15 Years Old, served alongside specially sourced local cheese.
