Visitors to Norway’s Halondsfjorden Fjord have something fabulous to look forward to – the area is to be the site of a high-design and also highly sustainable hotel called Hotel Svart. Ambitious renderings of the project reveal a ring shaped structure that appears to hover above the water on stilts.
Thanks to its novel shape, this hotel will offer 360 degree views of the frosty area which attracts travelers keen for a look at the Northern Lights. Also close by is the famous Svartisen glacier which the hotel is named after. In an effort to promote sustainability, the hotel will have a minimal impact on the surrounding environment which includes rare plant life.
