Wine lovers of the world, rejoice! France (no surprise here as this is where five of the six noble grapes were born) is opening a wine theme park called La Cité du Vin in Bordeaux. The building itself is a masterpiece designed to evoke wine’s soul and liquid nature, or a swirling glass of wine if you may. The attraction has 20 themed areas, wine-tasting sessions, educational wine courses & tours, a restaurant, and a wine bar with more than 50 types of wine. There is also a simulated boat tour, which takes you on a merchant’s galley around the globe. They also have a special wine boutique where you can purchase over 80 different types of wine.
